Ronald L. Eskridge age 82 of Park Forest, Illinois formerly of Chicago, Illinois and Schneider, Indiana passed away on December 24, 2020. Ron graduated from Lowell High School in Lowell, Indiana Class of 1957. Loving brother to Robert (Charlene) Eskridge. Preceeded in death by his siblings Shirley (late Joseph) Cassady, Carol (late William Bryan) Mahone, David (late Patricia) Eskridge and Karin Eskridge. Dear son to the late Wilbur and late Goldie (nee Smallwood) Eskridge. Beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Ron retired from Rich Township High School District as a Janitor-Custodian; he grew up playing baseball with a lifelong love for Chicago Sports especially for the Cubs and Bears. Ron was an avid bowler and was apart of a bowling league for many years, he also enjoyed horse racing as well as casinos from time to time. Ron served proudly in the U.S. Army. Ron will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Lukacek, Jr. age 78 longtime resident of Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away surrounded by his loving family on December 22, 2020.   Beloved husband of 50 years to Patricia (nee Bogacz) were married at St. Joseph Church on August 29, 1970.  Loving father to Tricia (Mark) Cymerman, Christine (Paul) Buddell and Pamela (Brittany) Ford.  Cherished grandfather to Carlee & Luka Buddell, Jenna Martin, Brook Sajda, step grandsons Marcus & Adam Cymerman.  Dear brother to Pauline Rybicki, Tony Lukacek, Vicki (late Wayne) Wallace, Helen Marie Lukacek and the late Rosemarie Ortyl.  Paul graduated from Whiting High School, served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corp., as a Corporal E-4 from 1960 to 1964, Commander at Catholic Ware Veteran Post 1060 and on the Golf League, Communion Minister at St. John the Baptist Church in Harvey, member of the VFW and volunteered for Meals On Wheels.  In lieu of flowers please make donation to either South Suburban PADS or Parkinson’s Foundation.

John A. Drechny,age 81, resident of Beecher, Illinois passed away on December 22, 2020. Loving husband to Sandra (nee Sullivan).  Preceded in death by his first wife Andrea (nee Haering); beloved father to Ann (David) Arnott, Angela (ScottLam) Arnott, John (Debbie) Drechny, Joel (Carrie) Drechny and Jeremy (Tina) Drechny. Cherished grandfather to Chloe, Johnny, RJ, Alex, Holly, Jeff, Allison and Kate. Dear stepfather to the late Robert (Daina) Jehling, Richard (Christine) Jehling, Laurie (Robert) Ramirez and Kathy (Scott) Walker. Stepgrandfather to 12; stepgreat-grandfather to 20 and stepgreat-great-grandfather to one. Dear brother to Candice (late Richard) Spaid. A Chicago Cubs fan since he was six, John retired as an English and drama teacher from Central Jr. High School in Steger. A devout Catholic, John was ordained a Deacon in 2001 and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus.

Joseph S Jaworski

Joseph S. Jaworski of Beecher died Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the Manteno Veterans Home at the age of 88. Joe was born in South Chicago, IL on March 10, 1932.

Joe graduated from Chicago Vocational High School.  After high school he joined the National Guard, and worked a few jobs before joining the United States Air Force for 13 years.  While in the Air Force he was a automotive repairmen.  After the Air Force, he was a civilian for a short time before joining the United States Army.  He was in the Army for 12 years which would include the National guard as a Battalion Maintenance Officer.  During his tour of duties he served in Korea and Vietnam, as well as being stationed in many countries and many cities in the United States. He retired from the military as a Warrant Officer in 1974 after serving for 25 years.  Following his retirement from the military, he worked at Modern Drop Forge until he retired in 1997. He was a proud member of the Warrant Officers Association for more than 40 years, the VFW and Amvets.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Nancy (nee Kalwasinski) Lesner and his brother Robert Jaworski. In addition to his wife, Audrey Jaworski (nee Churchyard), he was a loving father to Sheila (Kevin) Bouchard and their son Jeffery. John (Cheryl) Jaworski and their sons John Jr., Christopher and Justin, also their grandchildren Claira and Logan. Adrian (Laura) Jaworski and their children Adrian Jr, and Sarah. Joseph (Staci) Jaworski and their children Heather and Aaron also their grandson Jaxxson and brother in-law to Elaine Jaworski.
