Albert T. Krebs Jr. age 91of Crete, Illinois passed away peacefully on August 15, 2014.  Preceded in death by his beloved son Albert III (1991).  Survived by his loving wife Edna (nee Mennenga); children Katherine M. Krebs and Perry (Jan) T. Krebs.  Dear brother to Helen (William) Loving and the late John D. Krebs.  Albert retired from the Northwestern Railroad, was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Springfield, past President of the Crete Lions, member of the Thornton Township School Boards, the Dolton Park District Board and served proudly in the U.S. Army.Visitation Monday, August 18, 2014 from 4:00PM until 7:30PM at Crete Funeral Home, 1182 Main Street, Crete, Illinois. Funeral Tuesday lying in state from 1:00PM until time of service at 2:00PM at First Presbyterian Church, 900 Thomas, Chicago Heights, Illinois.  Interment: Presbyterian Cemetery, Chicago Heights, Illinois.   Information 708-672-7600.
