Alva B. Bud Brooks Age 92 of Monee, Illinois passed away on June 13, 2016. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Grace (nee Narbutt) in 2011, loving children Mary (Lloyd) Pierce and James (Maria) Brooks. Cherished grandfather of Neil (Crystal) Pierce, Daniel (Stephani) Pierce, Randy (Teena) Pierce, Kyle (Juliette) Pierce and Elizabeth Brooks. Great grandfather of 4. Fond brother to the late Sarah Payne and John Brooks. Bud worked for Hewlett-Packard (HP) as an electrical engineer. He was a member of the American Legion in Evergreen Park, served proudly in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1943-1946, Eucharistic Minister and a Volunteer at St. James Hospital.Visitation on Sunday, June 19, 2016 from 2PM to 8PM at Monee Funeral Home 5450 Wilson St. (at Governors Hwy.), Monee, IL 60449.
