Andrew R. Banicki age 89 of Manteno formerly of South Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away on February 2, 2014. Preceded in death by his 1st wife Mercedes. Survived by his 2nd wife Bernice, his beloved children Dennis (Katherine) Banicki. Christine (Ronald) Rotondi and Andrew (Pamela) Banicki. Cherished grandfather of 8. Fond brother to Lorraine Prisco and the late Frances Gunter. Andy owned Andys Courtesy Liquors in South Chicago Heights for over 40, and he was also a member of Knights of Columbus, Polish-American Club, V.F.W. Post 2825, American Legion Post 131 and served proudly in the U.S. Navy.Visitation Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 2PM until the time of service at 7PM at Kerr-Parzygnot Funeral Home 540 Dixie Hwy.
