Barbara A. Maine (nee Maxwell) age 74 of St. John, Indiana passed away on May 21, 2022.  Beloved wife to Ronald; loving mother to Kelly Marie Hagen and Kristan Mary (Timothy) Crouch.  Beautiful grandmother of 11.  Barbara is a retired  teacher from Prairie State College in Chicago Heights, Illinois.

Funeral Mass at 11:00A.M. on July 14, 2022 at St. Liborius Church, 35th and Halsted Blvd., Steger, Illinois.  Burial is Private at St. John Kanty Cemetery, Rolling Prairie, Indiana.    Arrangement entrusted to Crete Funeral Home, 1182 Main Street, Crete, Illinois.  Info:  (708) 672-7600.

    Ron, we send our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy on your loss. Barbara was a lovely woman. Even as she struggled, she thought of others and reached out to console my dad and lift his spirits. She was so kind and caring. We share your sadness and hope your faith brings you peace.
