Bernice (Bea) M. Stojak, 90 years of age, peacefully passed away at home on October 4, 2021 surrounded by family.  She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband Julius Stojak.  Bernice was the matriarch of five generations.

She is survived by her four daughters Sharon Meeks (William Wayne), Connie Scofield (Tom Sr.), Diane Houser (Stan) and Gail Stojak.

She proudly called herself Grandma and Granny to four grandchildren Lori (Scott), Debbie, Tommy and Kelly (Brian).

Her greatest joy came from being Nana to seven great-grandchildren Renee (C.J.), David, Seth, Ashley, Emily, Madison, and Carson; and two great-great-grandsons Wyatt and Weston.

She is also survived by her sister Angeline Mehorczyk, and was preceded in death by her sisters Elizabeth and Margaret, and brothers John, Frank and step brother Frank. 

Visitation Friday, October 8, 2021 from 4PM until 7PM at Monee Funeral Home, 5450 Wilson (at Governors Highway), Monee, Illinois.  Funeral service 10AM on Saturday at the funeral home.  Interment:  Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, Illinois.   Info: 708-534-0016.
