Candice B. Jones (nee Cooper) age 74 of Crete, Illinois
passed away on January 4, 2023. Beloved wife of the late
William “Red” (2012). Loving mother of Michael
(Deborah) Jones, Marcus Jones, Shaun Jones and Penny
(Chris) Gale. Cherished Grandmother of Jennifer,
Michael, Emily, Shaun Jr., Noah, Adyson and Mikey Gale. Great
Grandmother of Jeremiah and a baby on its way. Fond sister
of Byron (Ramona) Cooper, the late Wayne Cooper,
Lawrence Cooper, Clarence (Reba) Cooper, Cheri (the
late Earl) Whitney, the late Robin Cooper, Larrid (Cathy)
Cooper, Rhonda (David) Bradigan and Robert Cooper.

My Dear Cousin. I never dreamed we would lose you so soon. You were my first cousin, my first playmate, my first friend. I loved you dearly. I know that someday I will see you again and I am a little selfish, that you aren’t still with us here on earth. I know that you are in a better place. Spread your wings sweet girl, because you’ve earned them. Give Red a hug from me and if you see my Mom and Dad and my Son Logan. Wrap your wings around them for me.
