Charles A. Anderson, age 68, a long-time resident of Steger IL, passed away on July 11, 2022 with his loving wife Heidi by his side. He is survived by his devoted son Cody Staton, siblings Judy Reynolds of Crown Point IN, Charlene and John Flamini of Schaumburg IL, Jim and Nancy Anderson of Schaumburg IL, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Don Reynolds, parents Charles E. and Frances (nee Bertram) Anderson. He was the Director of Buildings and Grounds for Brookwood School Dist. 167 for 40 years. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, July 18 from 4PM until time of service at 7pm at Crete Funeral Home, 1182 Main St., Crete, IL 60417.  (708) 672-7600

    I knew Charles from around Steger and when I was a student at Brookwood and he was a good and tough guy !
    Please accept my deepest condolences to the Anderson Family. He will be missed to be seen around Steger.

    To Heidi, Cody and the entire Anderson family, please accept our deepest condolences as your hearts heal from your loss. Chuck will be greatly missed, I still expect to see him sitting in his garage early in the morning, my mornings won’t be the same without saying good morning to him when I walk out my door – he will be deeply missed.
