Charles Boots J. Spindler age 78 of Posen, Illinois passed away peacefully on September 20, 2014. Survived by his loving wife Marlene; beloved brother to Donald (late Janice) and late Dolores (late Bruno) Jurek. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Boots worked as a campus police for the University of Illinois for 25 years, paramedic with Daleys Ambulance for 40 years, member and past commander of PLAV Post #39 Harvey, Trustee of Village of Posen, Commissioner of Calumet Union Drainage District 1, usher at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and served proudly in the U.S. Army.Visitation Tuesday, September 23 from 2PM to 8PM at Kerr-Parzygnot Funeral Home 540 Dixie Hwy. (at Joe Orr Rd.), Chicago Heights, IL 60411. Funeral on Wednesday lying in state from 9AM until time of mass at 10AM St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 14414 McKinley Avenue, Posen.
