David C. Naylor age 73 of Crete, Illinois passed away March 16, 2021 peacefully at home.  Loving husband to his ‘bride’ Susan (nee Forbes) of 52 years; brother to Jim (Mark) Naylor,  Bill (Jackie) Forbes and late Robert (Shirley) Forbes.  Devoted father to his 5 children Mark (Kim), Chad (Chris), Jason (Lynette), Amy (Kevin) and Adam (Courtney).  Grandfather to Michael, Lauren, Abby, Sara, Ryan, Logan, Brayden, Jake, Aubrey, Colton and Caleb.  Dave was an IBEW 134 electrician for 51 years.  He enjoyed classic cars, woodworking, fishing and especially spending time with his family.  He spent his last years at ‘the lake’ in Evart, Michigan cruising in his boat and having fires.  He is loved by many and his quick wit and humor will be missed by all.  He preceeded in death by his parents, Newell and Barbara Naylor. He donated his body to Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois.   In lieu of flowers please make donations to the church.
