Obituary
DAVID CREECH July 9, 1952 – June 29, 2021
One of the hardest things in life is saying goodbye for the final time to a loved one. Dave Creech passed away peacefully surrounded by family, and as much as we will miss him, his pain is gone.
Survived by wife Karol (Monarch) Creech, Children, Troy (Carey) Creech, Tracy (Ken) Garcia, Trisha (Uriel Akiva) Creech, sister Angela (Fletcher) Prestridge, brother Tim Smith, Grandchildren Charley, Emma, Josephine, Axelle, Sigrid, Ben, Jacob and nasty Nate, and of course our beloved Izzy.
To the love of my life, my knight in shining armor for 49 years, I will go on with you in my heart and my head. There will not be a day that I will not laugh or cry over something we shared.
To those of you that know him, you know how generous and loving he was, his kindness was above reproach, you never left as a stranger but always left as a friend. His door was always open as well as his big heart. He loved family most, and friends close behind that.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to St. Jude’s, Pancreatic Cancer research, or your favorite local animal shelter (his favorite).
A celebration of his life is July 10th. Reach out to the family for details.
Arrangement entrusted to Crete Funeral Home, 1182 Main Street, Crete, Illinois. Info: (708) 672-7600. cretefuneralhome.com
