Donna Lou Supan, age 75 passed away at St. Margaret€™s Hospital in Dyer, Indiana on Sunday, August 2, 2015.    The cause was Chronic Pulmonary Disease.Born on June 9, 1940 in Freeport, Illinois to Violet and Arvid Eklund, she was the second of three children, including a sister, Norma Jean and a brother William €˜Bill€™ Donald.  Donna graduated from LaSalle Peru Township High School in 1958.  On October 3, 1959 she married John Irvin Supan of Lostant, Illinois.  The two had three children together, Kim Marie (1960), Tammy Sue (1961) and John William (1963).Donna enjoyed music, dancing, good food and good wine.  She will be especially remembered for her quick wit and zest for life, as well as her deep devotion for her family.Survivors include her dearly loved mother in law, Irma Wright of Peru, Illinois; her sister and close companion, Norma (Norm) Pizzamiglio,  of Oglesby, Illinois; her daughter Kim (Kirk) Slowinski of Port Huron, Michigan; son John (Nancy) Supan of Crown Point, Indiana; grandchildren  Danielle (Kevin) Jackson of Fort Gratiot, Michigan; Ashley Supan of Highland, Indiana; Nicole Supan of Lansing, Illinois; Jillian (John) Heering of San Diego, California; Kelsey (Marcelo) Fernandez of Stone Ridge, Virginia; Megan Supan of Crown Point, Indiana; Johnny Supan of Crown Point, Indiana; Eric (Traci) Slowinski of Chicago Heights, Illinois and Adam Slowinski of Chicago Illinois; as well as six great grandchildren:  Spencer Supan, Brayden Spearson, Rileigh Heering, Adalynn Heering, Dylan Jackson, and soon to be delivered, Nola Slowinski.  She is also survived by several well loved brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews.  Preceded her in death were her husband John Supan, daughter Tammy Supan, mother Violet Stuart, brother Bill Eklund, and father in law Wayne Wright, as well as a loved companion, Jim Schular.Memorial visitation and service will be held from 3:00PM until the time of service at 6:00PM, Wednesday August 5, 2015,  at Monee Funeral Home 5450 Wilson St. (at Governors Hwy.), Monee, IL 60449.   Info (708) 534-0016.
