Eric Jelinek age 39, longtime resident of Glenwood, Illinois passed away on March 30, 2022.  Beloved son to James and Pirjo Jelinek.  Loving brother to Amy (Brian) Betley.  Cherished uncle to Emma, Blake and Chase Betley.  Admired nephew to Steve & Judy Jelinek, John & Dee Jelinek, Jenny & Dave Suoranta, Kathy & Ray Suoranta and Brian Suoranta.  Beautiful cousin to Petra (Jelinek) Bollero, Mark Jelinek, Tom Jelinek, Patricia (Jelinek) Gagliardi and Megan Suoranta.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Eric’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. https://www.stjude.org

    My thoughts and condolences are with the Jelinek family during these tough times. Eric was an amazing, special guy. He will be missed.

    Very sad and surprised to hear this news. I was glad to catch up with Eric at Aurelio’s a few years back, and thought of him recently. He was always such a positive and friendly guy, and the last time I saw him, he was in good spirits and seemed to be doing quite well. We will all miss him. My heart goes out to Eric’s parents and sister during this difficult time.
