Evelyn A. Heusmann (nee Wantuch) age 90 of Monee, Illinois passed away on January 21, 2017.  Devoted wife of 69 years to Willard €˜Bill€™.  Loving mother to Valerie Lantz, Debra (Charles Chilson) Black, ClaraLynn Heusmann and Jackie (Kenneth) Reils.  Cherished grandmother of 5; great grandmother of 12.  Dear sister to Bernadine Gwiazda and the late Florence Kaufman.  Evelyn and Bill€™s love and devotion to each other set an example to all who knew them.  They loved to dance to the Polka.   Evelyn was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post # 8283 in Steger, member and past officer of the Polish Falcons Nest #42, delivered Meals On Wheels for the seniors, worked for 30 years for the post office in Monee and Frankfort and was a member of IL Rural Letters Carriers Association.  Evelyn was a fun loving, generous individual and enjoyed going places and meeting people.  Her positive attitude and sense of humor brought happiness to everyone she met.Visitation Wednesday, January 25 from 3pm to 8pm at the Monee Funeral Home, 5450 Wilson St. (at Governors Hwy.), Monee, IL 60449.
