Evonne €˜Bonnie€™ L. Casson (nee Read) age 80 of Crete, Illinois passed away on June 19, 2018.  Beloved wife of 40 years to Joseph; loving mother to Vallarie Maddox (Tim) Pickens, Lisa Maddox (James) Schmidt and Jennifer Casson (John) Stanley.  Beautiful grandmother to Brianna (Adam) Edington, Brigette (fiancé Jimmy) Schmidt, Jacob Pickens, Colton Pickens and Zachary Stanley.  Cherished great grandmother to Ayla Edington.  Dear sister to Rita (Jimmy) Green, Margie Sue (Lee) Koehler and Candace Read.  Fond aunt to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Chester Read and Margerette Dail.  Bonnie worked for 42 years as a R.N. and an Administrator.  Bonnie was an active member to the Order of Eastern Star, Order of Job€™s Daughter, Crete Women€™s Club, Red Hat Society, the Methodist Group, Needle Crafters, Crete Book Club and Investment Club.Visitation Thursday, June 21 from 3:00 P.M. €“ 9:00 P.M. at Crete Funeral Home, 1182 Main St. (Dixie Hwy.), Crete, IL 60417.
