Obituary
Fern E. Rodgers (nee Koelling) age 92 of Beecher passed away on October 6, 2020. She was born and raised in Crete, the middle of three siblings. Lived in Des Plaines for a most of her life before becoming a resident of Beecher Manor Nursing and Rehab since 2017. Preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Lydia (nee Rincker) Koelling and her loving husband Earl. Loving sister to Ronald (Charlotte) Koelling and the late Carolyn Rushton. Beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Fern Rodgers was the sweetest lady i ever met!! Fern used to be a long time member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Des Plaines!!! She knew my grandparents very well, they were Marge and Bob Bunce!! my late grandparents and I havent seen Fern in years since she left the church!! I just found out about her passing and i wanna give my deepest sympathies/condolences to the Rodgers family in their time of sorrows!!
