George J. Bova age 93 of Olympia Fields longtime resident of Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away on September 25, 2018. Loving husband to his first wife the late Edith (nee Cameli) 1993 and Lorene DeSalvo (nee VanderVliet ); beloved father to Joseph (Peggy) Bova, Judy Bova (Ron) Alexander and George P. (Kim) Bova. Cherished grandfather of 5 and great grandfather of 4. Step father to Sandy (late Billy) Bramanti, Janice (Mario) Giannetta and Sheryl (Michael) Simone. Step grandfather of 5 and great grandfather of 5. George was self employed owner of Losco Electric, longtime member IBEW #134, Catholic War Veterans Post #1060, American Legion Post #131, Knights of Columbus, past Electrical Inspector for City of Chicago Heights, Village of South Chicago Heights and Village of Glenwood, Past President of Chicago Heights Builders Club. Also served proudly in the U.S. Army WWII 79th Infantry Division.Visitation Friday, September 28 from 2 PM to 8 PM at Kerr-Parzygnot Funeral Home 540 Dixie Hwy.
