George L. Tamez age 52 of Calumet City, Illinois passed away August 24, 2017. Loving husband of 30 years to Anne (nee Ambriz). Beloved father to Elijah (Mercedes), Matthew, Natalie (Rafael), BryAnn (Mickey), Steven (Cindy), Niko and Alan (Monica). Proud grandfather of Adam, CJ, Zack, Naomi, Zayne, Xavier, Andrew, Azalea, Nailaya, Bella, Aria, Logan, Kalessi, Noah, Valerie, Armani, Issac and Mia. Dear brother to 10 siblings. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. George worked for 30 years as a Director for the Cook County Sheriffs Office.
