Herbert E. Battermann III age 39 of Peotone, Illinois passed away on August 11, 2021.  Beloved father to Wyatt E. Battermann.   Loving son to Herbert E. Jr., (Mary Ann) Battermann and Georgette Hughes.  Dear brother to Holly M. Battermann and step sister Gina Peterson; fond uncle to Emma Boser.  Beautiful nephew and cousin to many.  Extended family in the Cayman Islands.

Herbie loved listening to music and playing his Bass Guitar.  He was also an avid skateboarder; his true love was for family and friends. He will be missed by his big smile and unforgettable laugh.  He was a truly a one of kind person and will be missed by those who knew and loved him. 

 Visitation and service Wednesday, August 18th from 10:00A.M. until time of service 12:00 Noon at Wilton Center Federated Church, 14101 W Joliet Road, Manhattan, Illinois.  Interment at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Crete, Illinois.  Arrangement entrusted to Monee Funeral Home, 5450 Wilson, Monee, Illinois.   Info:  (708) 534-0016.

    Thanks for all the prayers. We will miss him everyday until we join him.
    To get the word out, Mental illness is the same as diabetes. Body does not function or survive without your body producing the proper chemicals. Family and true friends need to support and have empathy for anyone with mental illness and be concerned for their health and safety. Stop the stigma.
