James A. Richards age 89 of Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away on April 12, 2014. Survived by his loving wife Ellen (nee Regnier); his loving children James (Claire) Richards, Mary Nieken, Carol Richards, Joan Bettin, John (Jane) Richards, Kathleen Richards, Thomas Richards and Patricia Hennessey. Cherished grandfather of 12. Dear brother to Helen Jackowiak. Jim worked as a truck weight inspector for the Illinois State Police, was also a member of the American Legion Post #0521 in Steger, Illinois and served proudly in the U.S. Navy.Visitation & Funeral on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 9:30AM until the time of mass at 10:30AM at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1501 Chicago Road, Chicago Heights, Illinois.
