James “Jim” Thomas Pieczynski age 79 of Crete, Illinois passed away on November 26, 2023.
Preceded in death by Edward J. and Anna (nee Wilczynski) Pieczynski.
Devoted husband to Mary Ann; loving father to James, and to late son Michael.
Cherished brother to late brother Edward (Diane), Evelyn (Late Henry) Wojtan, Joan (Sigmund) Sobie, and his late brother Erwin (Mary) Pieczynski, brother in-law to Eleanor (John) Augustine, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dear friend to many at Smokey Joe’s and Main Street Exchange.
Jim served his county in the Army during the Vietnam War.
Jim was a carpenter for the Local 10 Carpenters Union until his retirement in 2006.
Jim loved to share stories and his homemade baked goods with his loved ones.
His humor and wit will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

    Dear Jamie & Mary Ann,
    We are sending our deepest sympathy for the loss of Jim, your father & husband.

    I am 89 and still recuperating from a fall and unable to attend the services..

    May Jim rest in eternal peace.
