Obituary
Jarrod Michael Duncan was welcomed into the world by his mother Marcia, his grandparents Monroe and Marcine, aunts Dawn, Cheryl and an uncle Marshall on January 31, 1975 in Lancaster, WI. At the age of two he went to Quad City Downs in East Moline, Illinois with his mother to live there. On March 5, 1978 Kenneth Burd became his step-father and later that year his sister Jessie was born. He graduated from grade school in Silvis, Illinois where J.D. played football in Junior High and then he played senior basketball for 3 years at United Township High School where he graduated in 1993. On to College of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois he also played on the basketball team. After four and half years he graduated with a degree in Business, Finance and licensed investments. J.D. became a broker with The First Investment firm of Oak Brook, then he worked for Mercury Finance Co. in Hinsdale, Illinois.J.D. married his college sweetheart Andrea Kingman in August of 2002, they purchased a home in Bourbonnais, Illinois where they lived for 2 years and then divorced. J.D. had left his job in Hinsdale and started training and racing horses in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Florida, Iowa, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York. This became his full time job ever since. J.D. leaves behind his mother, grandparents, a sister, 2 step-brothers, which one is Don Burd, 7 cousins and 4 second cousins (all girls) on his mothers side of the family. J.D. passed away suddenly on March 5, 2014 from unknown medical conditions.Memorial service on Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 1:00PM until 4:00PM at Crete Funeral Home, 1182 Main Street, Crete, Illinois.
