Jesse Martinez age 84 of South Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away on November 23, 2020.  Loving husband to Mary Ann (nee Wuest); beloved father to Carol Martinez, Dawn (Greg) Mattson, Jason (Jennifer) Martinez, Jacquelyn (Robert) Ryan and Nicole (Josh Frost) Martinez.  Cherished grandfather of 12.  Preceded in by 7 sisters, 1 brother and his parents Julian and Evelyn (nee Medina) Martinez.  Served proudly in the U.S. Army and retired as a Machine Repair for Fastner Equipment in Homewood, Illinois.

Arrangements entrusted to Steger Funeral Home, 125 E Steger Road (34th Street), Steger, IL.     Inurnment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL at a later date. Info.  (708) 755-3400.

    To the Martinez family my uncle Jesse was a kind and loving uncle I will always remember his laugh and corky jokes. during these times just remember all the good times, his laugh his smile and remember you all have another angel watching over all of you.
    Mary Ann you were the love of his life and his life was better for you being in it. I will miss my uncle
