Jessie E. Wakefield (nee Benner) age 83 of Hazel Crest, Illinois passed away on May 20, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Charles C. (11-29-2004). Loving mother to Elizabeth Wakefield, Charles W. (Paula) Wakefield, Colleen (Kent) Gallery and Marsha (Brian) Denton. Cherished grandmother of 13 and great grandmother. Beautiful sister to Julee (John) Zager, Jacqueline Benner, late Walter (Teresa), late James (Judith), late Jerrald (Rose Marie) and the late Jerome (Dee Anna) Benner. Special friend Laura Ciezadlo. Jessie worked at the Cook County Circuit Court as a Imagining Specialist. Jessie was the former Village Trustee for Hazel Crest (12yrs), Chicago Heights Women of the Moose, former member of Hazel Crest Fireman Ladies Auxiliary, American Association of Medical Assistance, Illinois Society of X-Ray Technicians, St. Vincent DePaul Society, Chairman of Hazel Crest Neighborhood Girl Scouts, leader of multi-level of Girl Scout and Den Mother of Troop #398 in Hazel Crest.
