My dear sister, as it once was said in my last birthday card you gave me, “birthdays are a reminder that life is a gift”. You were and will always be a gift to me. Please make sure you enjoy your time now with Mom and Dad and look down upon us and know we loved you with all our hearts and know you are now at peace. Love you forever. Till we meet again. I loved my time with Joanne, she was kind, giving, funny and had a wicked humor. She came into my life when we first moved in and welcomed us into her family and her world. Our kids were the same age and we just connected. I will always treasure the fun we had and how much I loved you and your generous spirit. I will never meet a wiser woman.

I met Joanne through our friend Kathleen. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She had the biggest simile and a bubbly personality. The love that she had for God, her family and friends shined through. I’m so glad I met you through our friend Kathleen.

I am a former coworker to Mayra and I met Joanne when she came into the office to visit with Mayra. She came by to visit a few times, she was always so pleasant and nice. Mayra talked highly of her and mentioned her volunteerism. May her spirit travel well. Our condolences to Mayra, Dan, Rich and the whole family. ❤
