I had the pleasure of working with John for a short period of time at freedom Village, during that time he became one of my favorite Staff members I loved his sense of humor and his calm demeanor. John and became friends and he also became my Carpenter. I would often remind him of how precious a skill carpentry is, I would always say John Jesus was a Carpenter that makes you a pretty special guy. I called him big John because when he had to give up the job because of his knee surgery I hired little John then he and John Harvey which was his replacement became friends , When I got the news From little John my heart was broken I thought about his wife, I thought about his children and I thought about his grandchildren and how their lives would never be the same. sometimes he would be scheduled to work at my house but he would have to reschedule because he was going to stay home and babysit I would tease him about how I Couldn’t imagine him babysitting Although I really could because of his gentle spirit. I extend my sincerest condolences to his family and friends and pray that the Lord will comfort you and guide you in this difficult time God bless.

    Dear Donna and Muransky Family,

Please accept our most sincere condolences for such an enormous and unexpected loss. One of the most memorable moments of moving to Crete was that the first person who engaged us outsiders was John, a fact likely of no surprise to any of you. His warmth, smiles, and generous and genuine interest in us, his new neighbors, had us know that we’d landed in the right place. Your loss is shared with so many others because of what he brought to the world, and to so many like us we suspect.

    Sincerely,
    Carin & Ed Zuger
