John J. Haseman age 84 a longtime resident of Crete, Illinois passed away on January 20, 2016.  Preceded in death by his loving wife Lillian (2011); his parents John and Viola (nee Piepenbrink) Haseman.  Survived by his beloved sons John R. (Denise) Haseman and Terry A. Haseman.  Cherished grandfather to John C. Haseman and Dana M. Haseman; great grandfather to Lillian.  Dear brother to Joyce Zydch and Elaine Angellotti.  Special friend Sanda Jefferson.  John was with Crete Township Fire Protection district from 1955 to October 1959, then with the Village of Crete Fire Department from November 1959 to November 1979 also worked for the Village of Crete€™s Public Works Department and was the Road Commissioner for the Crete Township until John retired in 1989 also was part time police officer.  John also worked for the Emerald Trails Camp Ground and Ace Hardware.  John was a member of the Crete F-Men, Crete Lions and St Liborius Catholic Church in Steger.Visitation Saturday, January 23 from 10:00AM until the time of service at 1:30PM at the Crete Funeral Home, 1182 Main Street, Crete, Illinois.   Interment at Skyline Memorial Park, Monee, Illinois.  Info:(708) 672-7600.   Cretefuneralhome.com
