John Padilla age 79 of Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away on June 19, 2014. Beloved husband of Lucy (Nee Calvillo). Loving father of David Padilla, Mary Padilla and Scott Netherton. Cherished grandfather of Christine, Chelsea Padilla and Mia Netherton. Fond brother of Mary Obregon, Rose Padilla, the late Anthony Padilla, Angeline Ferris, the late Hortensia (Anne) Padilla, the late Vincent Padilla, Leonard Padilla, the late Joseph Padilla, Frank Padilla, Ofelia Cardenas and Lillian Quintanilla. He proudly served in the United States Army and he worked as a forklift operator for Flintkote Roofing and later retired from Globe Industries in Whiting, IN.
Visitation Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Kerr-Parzygnot Funeral Home 540 Dixie Hwy. (at Joe Orr Rd.), Chicago Heights, IL 60411.
