Joseph F. LoCascio age 92 of Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away on February 23, 2023.  Loving husband to the late Rosemarie (née Varallo; d. 1999); beloved father to Mary (Alan) Corradetti, Lori Rossi, and the late Louis LoCascio (d. 1965).  Cherished grandfather to Robert, Sara, Sam, Angela, Marlena, Alexandra and Marisa.  Great Grandfather to Olivia, Joe (Bear), Emerson, Connor, Leo and Miles.  Devoted son of the late Margaret (née Stanfa) and John LoCascio.  Dear brother to Antoinette, and the late Jack, Josephine and John. Brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, neighbor and friend of many.

Korean War Veteran of the U.S. Army; retired security guard at Recycled Paper Products; formerly employed by Weber Costello, Dixie Dairy, and Chicago Heights Distributing.

Arrangements entrusted to Kerr-Parzygnot Funeral Home 540 Dixie Hwy. (at Joe Orr Road), Chicago Heights, IL 60411.  Everyone to meet on Wednesday, March 1st at 11A.M. for a direct burial at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Glenwood, Illinois.  Info: (708) 754-0016.

    So sorry to hear about Joe. He was a wonderful and kind man, always gave me a big hug when ever I saw him. Prayers and hugs to his family.

    We learned of Joe’s passing just a few days ago. Would have loved to have gone to the service for him. Lori and Mary…..so sorry for your loss. Joe was a great guy. May he rest in peace with his beloved Rosemary.
