Karen Mary Bosco, 59, left this world to live with the angels on Wednesday, July 16, 2014.Karen was born to Pio and Rose Calacci on January 23, 1955 in Chicago Heights, IL. Karen spent the first 14 years of her life in Chicago Heights before moving to Arizona with her family. She graduated from McClintock High School and later received a Bachelor€™s degree in Education from Arizona State University. Karen spent the majority of her career as a Technical Editor for Motorola and later Freescale Semiconductor.On April 2, 1978 Karen married her high school sweetheart, Bruce Bosco. They went on to have a son, Bruce Adam Bosco Sr. and two grandchildren who lovingly called her Ha-Ha.Karen is survived by her husband Bruce Bosco, son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Rachael Bosco, her grandchildren, Bruce Adam and Bailey Rose Bosco, her mother Rose Calacci, her brother and sister-in law, Chris and Karen Calacci, nieces and nephew, Amanda Bosco, Maggie Otis, Catherine and Michael Calacci.She is preceded in death by her father, Pio Calacci, grandparents, Christofanelli and Calacci.The Memorial Service will be Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 9AM until the time of service at 11 am at Kerr-Parzygnot Funeral Home, 540 Dixie Highway, Chicago Heights IL 60411, (708) 754-0016.The Burial Service will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Steger, Illinois. Afterwards, there will be a gathering at Scrementi’s, 3760 Chicago Rd, Steger IL 60475, (708) 755-7200.“
