Karen J. Vergara (nee Gill) age 72 of Steger, Illinois passed away on August 5th, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.  Beloved wife of 51 years to Jose’ Rene’; loving mother to Gina (Tom) Wojciechowski and Rene’ (Michelle) Vergara.  Beautiful grandmother to Kylie, Tyler, Grace and a grandson due in November, 2021.  Fond daughter to Esther Enriquez.  Dear sister to Debra (Fernando) Ramos, Jane Ruiz and Kim Vergara.  Fond aunt to many.  Karen recently retired from Specialty Physicians of Illinois.

Visitation is Monday, August 9th from 3:00 PM until time of service at 7:00PM at Steger Funeral Home 125 E. Steger Road (34th St.) in Steger, IL 60475.  Info: 708-755-3400.
