Kathleen A. Mayer (nee Hopkins) age 51 of Beecher, Illinois passed away on December 29, 2014.  Loving wife to David; beloved mother to Melissa Mayer and Michelle Mayer.  Cherished grandmother to Braedyn, Jocelyn and Callie. Loving daughter to Kathleen (Robert Daly) and the late John Hopkins.   Dear sister to Patricia Herbert, Theresa (Bob) McKay, James (Sylvia) Hopkins, Eileen (Richard) Lillis and the late Mary Hopkins.  Fond aunt to many nieces and nephews.  Kathleen worked as a switchboard operator for St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights and Olympia Fields.  Kathleen was involved in the Lupus Run and Fundraiser sponsored by St. James Hospital.Visitation Friday, January 2 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Beecher Funeral Home, 602 Dixie Highway, Beecher, IL 60401.  Funeral service at 10:30AM on Saturday at the funeral home.  Interment: Oakland Memory Lanes Cemetery, Dolton, IL.   Info.
