Lawrence J. Janaszak age 77 of longtime resident of Chicago Heights, Illinois.  Loving husband to Lucy (nee Lachcik).  Beloved father to David (Julie) Janaszak, Carol Janaszak and Jeff Janaszak.  Cherished grandfather to Adam, Anna, Matt and Sophia.  Dear brother to Loretta Wright and Maryann (Steve) Lindgren.  Fond uncle, cousin and friend to many.  Lawrence retired as a supervisor for Ameritech and served proudly in the U.S. Navy.  Donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. 

Due to the current circumstances, a memorial mass will be scheduled at a later date at St. Kieran Catholic Church.  Arrangements entrusted to Kerr-Parzygnot Funeral Home, 540 Dixie Highway, Chicago Heights, IL.  Info: (708)-754-0016.

    To Lucy & all the family & friends of Larry: We send our very deepest sympathies to everyone who knew & loved Larry. He will certainly be very missed. I know it will take a very long time to even be remotely adjusted to no longer having this special person in your life. I also looked forward to visiting with him in Ludington, Michigan when we came to Hamlin Lake & renting from him & Lucy. Our girls enjoyed his kindness, & Courtney loved his fish stories & having in common the love of fishing. I will always remember that big smile and that brightness in his eyes. I loved his humor when he would tell us something funny, or when he was joking around with me, & of course silly me would not realize he was kidding, until he started laughing. I think he got a kick out of me because i was easy to kid around with. LOL His memory will certainly live on in our hearts, & I bet hes still telling jokes & fishing….Rest in Eternal Peace Larry K.
