LeRoy R. Thrun, Jr. age 80 of Steger, Illinois passed away on September 10, 2018. Beloved husband to the late Judy (nee Weller) 2016; loving father to Bryan (April) Thrun and David (Elizabeth) Thrun. Cherished grandfather to Amanda, Curtis, Benjamin, Faith and William. Dear brother to Jean (late Louis) Stelter, late Grace (late Chuck) Murphy and late Ronald (late Alice) Thrun. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Leroy retired after 35 years with Ford Motor Stamping Plant and served proudly in the U.S. Army.Visitation Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 11AM until time of service at 1PM at Monee Funeral Home, 5450 Wilson (at Governors Highway), Monee, Illinois 60449.
