Lloyd C. Buchmeier age 91 of Crete, Illinois passed away on December 11, 2021.  Loving husband to Alma; beloved father of Pamela (Jim) Thorn, Lloyd Jr. (Sharon) Buchmeier and Steven (Lisa) Buchmeier.  Cherished grandfather of 8; great grandfather of 2.  Beautiful brother to Jeanette Amstien, Linda Kiel, Cindy (Leroy) Matthias and Lawrence (Sharon) Buchmeier.  Dear uncle to many.  Lloyd was a farmer for 24 years and owner of Lloyd’s Excavating 10 years.  Lloyd served proudly in the U.S. Army. Lieu of flower donations can be made to Uplifted Hospice Care, 482 Main Street NW, Bourbonnais, IL  60914.

Visitation :  Trinity Evangelical Christian Church, 26900 Will Center Road, Monee, Illinois on Wednesday, December 15th, 2021 from 2:00PM to 7:00PM.   Funeral service on Thursday at 11:00AM at the church.  Interment at St. Paul UCC Cemetery on Margaret Street, Monee, IL.     Pam jim tiny…and family…my deepest sympathy on the passing of this great man. I always liked Lloyd and enjoyed talking with him. Prayers for all and God bless.

    Was always a good time hanging out with Lloyd Jr & Steve on the farm when we were neighbors. Lloyd Sr & Tiny were also very kind and had many memories from the farm with them. I am so sorry for your loss and I know he will be missed immensely.
