Louis D. Piattoni age 93 longtime resident of Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away on December 26, 2015. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Jeanette Jay (nee Gwiazda) 1999, son Michael Martino 2015 and parents Thomas and Josephine (nee Centorrino) Piattoni. Loving brother of late Jennie Pellegrino, late Virginia (late Art) Caffarelli, Toni (Guido) Gasbarro, Marie (late Earl) Aschoff and late Carmela (late Sam) Bova. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Louis retired as an Electrical Supervisor for Borg Warner, member of V.F.W. Post 2825, C.W.V. Post 1060, American Legion Post 131, Marine Corp League and served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corp.Visitation and funeral on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 9AM until the time of service at 11:30AM at Kerr-Parzygnot Funeral Home 540 Dixie Hwy.
