Jerry, Tom, and Patrick. I’m so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. She was such a nice Lady. So many fond memories of spending time with your family in our younger years. My deepest condolences.

Growing up on Mildred Lane was a special time. A time when neighbors cared about each other and looked out for one another. Mrs. Vellender was one of those neighborhood Mothers that made it so special. She was always so kind, caring, and giving, and she always had the best snacks in the neighborhood! She made our neighborhood a better place just by her presence and kindness, now undoubtedly, she will make heaven a better place as she is reunited with her husband and the rest of the old “Mildred Lane Gang”. She will be forever remembered and loved!
