Manuel Castro Jr., age 63 of Monee, Illinois passed away on February 17, 2015. Beloved husband to Elizabeth (nee Adas); loving father to Philemina Castro, Nicole Castro, Danielle(fiance Joseph Cleary Jr.) Castro and Stephen Castro. Cherished grandfather to Alex, Kyle, Samuel, Jeremiah, Taylor, Timmy, Dylan and Cayleb whom he loved very much. Fond son of Manuel Castro Sr, and Angelita Cruz-Huerta. Dear brother to Lydia Castro, John (Cindy) Castro, Donald Castro, Robert Castro, Joseph (Michelle) Castro. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Manuel coached football for the Blue Island Untouchables, Mt. Greenwood Colts, Orland Park Knights, Monee Mavericks, University Park, and Tee Ball for Monee and served proudly in the U.S. Army. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family. Visitation on Sunday, February 22 from 2P.M. to 8P.M. at Monee Funeral Home 5450 Wilson St. (at Governors Hwy.), Monee, IL 60449.
