Obituary
Marcello Del Vecchio, age 49, of Steger, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. He is survived by one daughter: Samantha Carey, (JT); parents: Costantino and Lucia Del Vecchio; brother: Joe Del Vecchio; sisters: Anna Okon, (Dan); Mary Hussey, (Chuck); Angel Mills, (Rodney); nieces: Angelica, Amanda, Gianna, Madeline and Gracie; nephews: David and Maxim; great-nephew: Rexsten; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Marcello enjoyed biking, fishing and listening to rock and roll. Most of all, Marcello loved spending time with family and had a heart of gold. He will be deeply missed.Visitation will be at the Steger Funeral Home, 125 E. Steger Road, (34th Street), Steger, on Monday, December 22 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral mass on Tuesday 10 A.M., December 23, at St. Liborius Catholic Church, Steger.
