Szafranski, nee Michaels age 72 of Beecher, Illinois passed away on April 20, 2016.  Loving mother to Phillip Szafranski, Laura (Salvatore) Cappello and Nichole (Rich) Kostner.  Cherished grandmother to Colin Szafranski, Robert Cappello, Samantha Cappello, Emily Cappello and Paige Kostner. Memorial on Monday, April 25 from 5PM  until time of service at 7:30PM at Beecher Funeral Home, 602 Dixie Hwy, Beecher, Illinois.  Info:  708-946-6000.  Burial is Private.

    Dear sweet Margie…you were my hero. Someone I looked up to. I met you when I was 16 years old, and you were expecting your first child. You inspired me to be a better person. You were my sister-in-law, and a beloved friend. We had so much fun. I so loved you, Phil, Laura, and Nikki. After being divorced from Dave, I have missed you terribly even years before you passed. I tried to help Laura, but she ungratefully took advantage of me. I love her so much but she hurt me. You Margie, were one of the best people ever in my life. Rest in peace my sweet sister. Thank you for all you did for me. Love you always, Lori
