Melvin A. Bodie age 85 of Crete, Illinois passed away on April 26, 2018. Beloved husband of 59 years to Francine (nee Petrowitch); loving father to Kelly Bodie, Scott (Peggy) and Steve (Rose) Bodie. Preceeded in death by his dear sibling Eleanor, Betty Ann, Donald, Michael, Raymond, Tommy and Edward. Melvin was a Police Officer and retired as an Inspector for the City of Harvey. Melvin served proudly in the U.S. Air Force.Visitation Wednesday, May 2, from 2PM until 8PM at the Crete Funeral Home, 1182 Main Street, Crete, Illinois.
