Michael C. Barry age 62 longtime resident of  Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away peacefully at home on February 21, 2024.  Born on March 31, 1961 to the late Joseph and late Maryalice (nee Redding) Barry in New York.  Beloved husband of 35 years to Cheryl (nee Cooper); loving father to Br. Sean S.J., and Patrick (Emily) Barry.  Dear brother to Nancy (late Michael Macaulay) Barry, Eileen (Michael) O’Reilly, Sheila (late Rich) Mariangeli, Maris (Naxhi) Lika, Tom (Michelle Hoffmann) Barry and Joe (Jan) Barry.  Preceded in death by Marilynn (Buddy) Ryan.  Fond uncle to many nieces and one nephew.

Michael attended and graduated from Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights.  He worked many years at Ace Hardware in Chicago Heights and was a loyal employee of Armil CFS in South Holland for the past 36 years.

Visitation Wednesday, February 28th  from 2:00PM to 8:00PM at Kerr-Parzygnot Funeral Home 540 Dixie Hwy. (at Joe Orr Road), Chicago Heights, IL 60411.  Funeral mass at 10AM on Thursday at Our Lady of the Heights (St. Kieran), 724 W. 195th Street, Chicago Heights, Illinois   Interment:  Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, IL.  Info: (708) 754-0016.

    To Cheryl, Maris, Sean, Patrick and the entire Barry Family. I am saddened to hear of the loss of Mike. He was great guy. I’m so sorry. May his memories be a blessing to you.
