Obituary
Mildred “Millie”” Nassios (née Stamper), formerly of Sauk Village, IL, born May 9, 1926, died April 21 2016, just shy of her 90th birthday. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gus (d. 2003). She is survived by her children: John (Kathy) Nassios, Connie (Ken Berry) Nassios, and Sandy (partner John Eisenhutt) Nassios. Also survived by 3 grandchildren: Joshua Wellington, Erin (Fernando) Robles and Abigail Berry; and 3 great grandchildren: Ethan, Fernando Jr. and Mildred Robles. Millie was the youngest of 10 children born to Ivan and Magdeline Stampar. She was a beloved wife, devoted mother, talented seamstress, had a green thumb, enjoyed fishing, traveling, loved to laugh, and was a very sweet and compassionate person. She will be dearly missed. Interment: private. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of St. Anthony Hospice for their support and care in her final days.
