Nancy H. Tarnroos (nee Burnell) age 86 of Arlington Heights formerly of Crete, Illinois passed away on February 4, 2023. Beloved wife to the late George (1996); loving mother to Sue Cappuccilli and Scott (Debbie) Tarnroos. Beautiful grandmother to Concelia, C.J. Shelby & Morgan Cappuccilli and Jackie Paquette, Andy & Luke Tarnroos. Cherished sister to Emeline (Ron) Pickands and Herbert ‘Bud’ Burnell. Dear aunt to many. Preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Alphild (nee Leeden) Burnell.

When I came back the first thing I asked Caren was about your Mom. She had told Mom passed. My thoughts, prayers, and hugs are with you and your family. I know it is very hard when you lose someone.
I remember Mom coming down to me on Sunday mornings when they could and sit at the front reading the Sunday paper. She would dress up so nice and wear her beautiful jewelry that jingled and jangled as she sat by me. Just seeing her and watching her always made my Sunday morning.
I also remember a time during COVID when she was looking out the front window and seeing and talking to her grandchildren from the window. Nancy was in her glory that day, so happy to talk to them and see them. She had the biggest grin from ear to ear and laughing.
I know she will be missed by many. God has received a very special angel.
