Norbert A. Segert age 88 of Crete, Illinois passed away peacefully on April 13, 2015. Beloved husband to Edna (nee Moeller); loving father of Bonnie (Ken) Nygaard and Allen (Wilma) Segert. Cherished grandfather of 4 and great grandfather of 1. Dear step brother to the late Arnold Segert and the late Selma Dust. Norbert worked as a foreman at Thrall Car and served in the U.S. Army. Contributions to Zion Lutheran AV Fund. Visitation Friday, April 17 from 2PM to 8PM at the Crete Funeral Home, 1182 Main Street, Crete, Illinois. Funeral Saturday lying in state at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1610 Main, Crete, Illinois from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral service 11:00A.M.
