Norbert Nobbie L. Wehmhoefer known as Mr. Kiwanis, age 90 longtime resident of Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away on March 2, 2015. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Marie (nee Roach) 2003. Survived by his sister Evelyn Neitzel; many nieces and nephews. Dear friend of many. Nobbie worked for Chicago Heights Glass and Paint; Advance Glass, and was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Dart Team #3 and the originator of 2nd phase of Dart League, Current and Past President and member of Chicago Heights Kiwanis Club since 1962 with perfect attendance; table of honor by the Kiwanis and served proudly in the U.S. Army WWII. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Kiwanis Club in care of the funeral home.Visitation Thursday, March 5 from 3:00PM to 8:00PM at Kerr-Parzygnot Funeral Home 540 Dixie Hwy. (at Joe Orr Road), Chicago Heights, IL 60411. Funeral Friday lying in state from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Chicago Heights, Illinois.
