Palmira €˜Mims€™ Mancini (nee Formentini), age 99, life-long resident of Chicago Heights, Illinois, born on December 26, 1915, and passed away on January 19, 2015.    Preceded in death by her loving husband Carl (1968); parents Romeo Sr. and Vittoria (Tribo) Formentini.  Survived by  daughters Madeline and Victoria; her brother Romeo Formentini, Jr. and his wife, Patricia; her sister-in-law Yolanda Formentini (the late Louis Formentini);  nieces and nephews Elizabeth Formentini (Kenneth) Ranney, Christina Formentini, Paul (Bonnie) Formentini, Louis Formentini, Jeffrey Formentini, Mary (John) Harrell, Martin (Michele) Szamatowicz, John (Wendy) Szamatowicz,  Karen (Leo) Ruiz, Annette (Steve) Sepiol, Barbara Jean Mugnolo and Dennis Cosenza; many great nieces, nephews and many dear friends.  Mims was a member of San Rocco Oratory and the former San Rocco Church in Chicago Heights.  She was employed by Suburban Heights Medical Center for 24 years. Mims was a joy to all who knew her and will be greatly missed.Visitation Friday, January 23  from 3:00PM to 8:00PM at Kerr-Parzygnot Funeral Home 540 Dixie Hwy.
