Patricia Sue Quiring, age 71 of West Olive, MI passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Holland Hospital. Patricia was born April 17, 1945 to Ralph and Dorothy (Gustafson) Ainscough in Chicago Heights, IL. She married John Quiring on September 2, 1967 in Homewood, IL. Pat was an active member of United Methodist Church of the Dunes and was a Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader. She worked for many years as a data manager at Valley View Pork and more recently as an Election Day worker. Pat and John enjoyed traveling both here and abroad. She loved making beautiful crafts, knitting and sewing.  Pat especially treasured the time spent with her family keeping up with what they were doing and attending all the special family events.  She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, John; son, Scott (Christina Peek) Quiring of Free Soil; daughter, Susan (Michael) Phillips of Bay City; sisters, Carol (James) Herr of Steger, IL, Sally (Paul) Cosenza of Spring Hill, FL; brother, Larry (Debra) Ainscough of St. John, IN; many nieces and nephews.A visitation will be held from 1-5 pm on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Crete Funeral Home, 1182 Main Street, Crete, IL.  Lying in state from 9AM until the time of funeral service  at 10 am Monday, October 24, 2016 at Crete United Methodist Church in Crete, IL. Interment will be in Skyline Memorial Gardens in Monee, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Info:  (708) 672-7600.
