Philip A. Cameli age 89 longtime resident of Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away on January 14, 2023. Loving husband of 64 years to Marie (Nee Narcisi); loving father to Pam (Michael) Vittori, Jill Cameli, Philip (Kelly) Cameli and Christopher Cameli. Beautiful grandfather to Justin, Giada, Samantha R., Santino, Samantha M., Brandon, Sophia, Amabella and Olivia. Dear brother to Mary Fazzini. Philip served proudly in the U.S. Army. Phil was the owner of Smart Set Beauty Shop where he worked with his beautiful wife for 33 years. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed making people laugh with a good story, a delicious meal or a trip to the casino.

Hearing of Uncle Phil’s passing saddens me, and I’m sure many people. I’ll remember him as a larger than life personality that was always smiling, positive and kind. Sorry to not be able to attend any services to honor his life. Please know I feel for your loss and know he was loved by many, including me. -John Neubauer
