Randall Randy Sassano age 55, longtime resident of Steger, Illinois passed away on April 19, 2019. Beloved husband to Mary (nee Cameli); loving dad to Patrick Paull, Noah Sassano, Randi Lynn Sassano and Rosemary Lorraine Sassano. Cherished grandfather to Juniper and Ruby Paull. Beautiful son to the late Louis Sr. and the late Lorraine (nee Stilts) Sassano. Dear brother to Debra (late Pat) Gineris Sr., Louis (Laurie) Sassano, Ron (Liz) Sassano, Kim (David) Straley and he late Lynne Sassano. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Randy was the Past Vice-President of the Down Syndrome Association of Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland and helped on many fundraisers for Non-Profit Charitable and Special Needs Organizations. Randy will be missed by everyone who knew him.Visitation on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 2pm to 8pm at Crete Funeral Home,1182 Main Street, Crete, Illinois.
